WCQ report

I wont bother with most of the stuff since its quite obvious that I scrubbed lol. I went 3-3 sadly but it's ok I got some bright (OMG MY EYES ARE GOING TO BURN OFF) colored protectors and had an enjoyable time. Theres always asia plus to look forward too anyway.

Some interesting things that happened:

I Chain Disappearanced an Effect Veiler.

My friend Cheng Zi won a game by attacking with an Effect Veiler and using Forbidden Chalice on it lol.

Noobie also won a game by ramming a Tragoedia with Gaia Dragoon and using Forbidden Chalice on it lol.

Kenneth (Plant) died when someone used three Electric Virus on his field of dragons lol.

I saw Kenneth's (Plant) new water deck in action it looks very fun props to him for that.

Final Countdown got top 16. Good job on that Kenneth (Tan).

Wesley Seek ended up winning the whole thing congrats to him. Also congratulations to Poh Seng as well for getting third.

So what did I learn from the event? Time to play a Tier 1 deck instead of relying on gadgets lol. The deck didn't have the brute force I needed in a lot of my games to win.

As for Asia Plus I have no idea who I want to team up with except Noobie. I wonder if they do make an extra pack 5 will it be legal for the event because I would like to use some of the cards from it in the event itself.

Nothing much until September banlist now hopefully Konami will give us a decent list. Knowing Konami however....

Well thanks for reading this jumbled mess of a post.

Also I just realized this blog has almost 2500 views (O.O) thanks for all the support everyone.

How to write a Tourney Report. Seriously.

Just saw this from somewhere, needed to show it to you guys. Was quite... interesting.

So me and <friend1> were staying at mine, browsing through blogs and just chilling. Eventually we took down our pillow forts, got dressed and <You tested your deck extensively ALL night, no sleep. You were completely unbeaten, the deck was FLAWLESS>

So I get up, <generic back story about your morning routine, major emphasis on how your personal hygiene standards soar in comparison to other duelists'>

So <Yes, every report must be written like you're a highschool, like so, whatever, cheerleader> we pick up some friends, <friend2> took fucking forever so we were all mega pissed but he eventually got ready. Finally we get to the venue where we chill, trade for the cards I needed, chill some more, beat Adam Corn 10-0 in friendlies, meet up with some friends and just chill.

Me and <friend3> decided to have a few test games while the others were still reg'ing, and <You then decide to completely switch decks, to one with no previous testing whatsoever, but it's cool fellas, friend3's logic is never wrong>

As it's about to start, we get seated and it turns out <you're playing either some scrub or your best friend, absolutely no one else ever>. Anyway:

Rounds 1-Y(cuz X is so mainstream)<your games will be one of the following>:

game x - i win

game x - i dont rememeber but i won

game x - <x card> wins games

game x - <Either you or they> opened teh nuts

game x - so this guy was totally stacking his deck, even after i cut it. I called a judge over but he was like 'nah I promote cheating' and walked off while flipping me off, laughing menacingly.

game x - get sacked, HIS ONLY OUT!!1!1!1

game x - Right so <extensive detail on every play you made, right down to the way you pro bluffed a false telegraph with your hax just by staring at your card's corner a little longer than usual. This play, or series of moves, was so damn awesome, it's essentially the only reason you wrote this tournament report really, admit it. There's gonna be more detail in this one game than your entire report put together, but who cares right? This is your moment, make it awesome, make it shine. Go on, even add a few extra imaginary moves that didn't really happen but would emphasise how goddamn EPIC this turn really was. DON'T HOLD BACK>

So I end up X-x <comment on your result. blame the lack of sleep/testing/common sense, it just simply wasn't a good day. Besides, playing stackers and abusive nazi judges, this was most likely your only downfall anyway, chin up. Also, If you're a nice guy, a little bit of humility admitting your one (and only) misplay is a nice touch to keep your internet friendly smiley duelist persona kickin'.>.

Props <one, if not all, of the following>:
xth place
going x-x with a deck i never tested

ripping children
PROFITS!
my friends doing well
GREAT PRIZE SUPPORT <if you won ofc>

Slops <Again, one of the following>:
going X-x
diceroll
judges are niggers/kkk/terrorists
my friends got sacked out of ALL of their wins
people who don't wash
awful prize support <you clearly didn't win>

Interesting decks that topped in other countries WCQ LOL

I'm doing this post the day before our WCQ just because I wanted to highlight how random this game can be sometimes. The following decks are either quite interesting or quite hilarious and might show what to expect at the world championships themselves.

Getting Top 8 at Spains WCQ we have a blast from the past KristyaSworn I'm not joking KristyaSworn.

Here is the Deck list: (I have no clue who made this deck btw)

40 cards in total
Monsters: 29

1 Sephylon the Ultimate Time Lord
2 Judgment Dragon
2 Archlord Kristya
2 Celestia, Lightsworn Angel
2 Wulf, Lightsworn Beast
1 Jain, Lightsworn Paladin
2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

1 Levair the Sea Dragon
1 No:17 Revise Dragon
1 No:20 Giga-BrilliANT
1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
1 Blade Armor Ninja
1 No:39 Utopia

Completely random and unexpected in my opinion however it might have been an excellent meta call with all the Chaos Dragons around. Sephylon and Kristya spell Disaster for the deck and Dino Rabbit as well. I wonder what he lost too.

Also from Spain we have the winning decklist Machina Gadgets without Geargiganto X lol

The deck:

41 card deck

1 CNo:39 Utopia Ray
1 Photon Butterfly Assassin
1 Gemknight Pearl
1 Wind-up Zenmaister
1 No:11 Big Eye

I found the maindecked Soul Taker quite cool for the Chaos Dragon matchup. Some interesting side deck choices here too such as Jinzo and Gozen Match. However it is cool to Ultimate Offering a whole field of monsters then summon one Jinzo lol.

From South Africa we have two interesting decks who got Top 8

The first is a strangely built Inzektor deck:

40 cards

2 Messenger of Peace
2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
1 Soul Taker
1 Mind Control
1 Effect Veiler

1 Transmigration Prophecy

Extra Deck:15
A completely standard Inzektor extra deck except it has 1 Grenosaurus in it. Yes Grenosaurus that fail card from the Utopia Starter deck.

So um wow, Chaos Dragon hate to the max. I feel sorry for any Chaos Dragons he did fight that day with this deck lol that would have been a massacre.

The second deck is a Hieratic deck which is quite surprising in the TCG

40 Card Deck
Monsters: 22

3 Shiyuu
3 Aset
3 Tofeni
1 Nephthe
1 Luster Dragon #2
1 Watt Dragon
1 Gorz Emissary of Darkness

3 Card Car D
3 Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon

Spells:14

3 Hieratic Seal of Convocation
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
2 Night Beam
1 Heavy Storm
3 Pot of Duality
1 Monster Reborn
1 Dark Hole

1 Photon Streak Bounzer
1 Cameraman
1 Tyrus
1 Ally of Justice Catastor
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Scrap Dragon
1 Scrap Archfiend

Surprising this did well in TCG land. His deck is also just like an OCG version Hieratic deck too lol
The 3 Kinetic Soldier in side was just random though. I wonder if he fought any Heroes or Six Samurai in the tournament?

Our last decklist is from Denmark where this Danish trolled with some weird Dragunity deck

40 card deck

Monsters: 18

1 Lightpulsar Dragon
3 Dragunity Dux
3 Dragunity Phalanx
2 Blue Eyes White Dragon
1 Black Luster Soldier
1 Dragunity Arma Leyvaten (that orange 2600 attack dragunity)
3 Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
1 Koaki Meiru Drago
3 White Stone of Legend

Spells: 21

1 Dark Hole
1 Future Fusion
3 Dragon Ravine
3 Trade In
3 Super Rejuvenation
1 Card Destruction
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm
2 Mystical Space Typhoon
3 Cards of Consonance
1 Terraforming

Traps: 1

1 Trecharous Trap Hole

Side Deck: 0 ( WTF!!!!!!!)

Extra Deck: 15

1 Queen Dragun Djinn
1 Red Daemon's Dragon
2 Stardust Dragon
3 Dragunity Knight Vajrayana
1 Five God Dragon

1 Colossal Fighter
1 Trident Dragion
1 Thought Ruler Archfiend
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis

All I have to say is this:

So that concludes our look into the highly entertaining WCQs. Machina Gadgets without Geargiganto, KristyaSworn, Weird Dragunities, super special awesome Inzektors, and a Hieratic deck that shouldn't be winning in the TCG.

How badly will we be trolled in this weekends WCQ I wonder? Until then I'll just continue laughing at all the interesting decks that topped in the WCQs in other countries.

Comment on what you think of all this Jank lol.

Thanks for Reading!

P.S. If your reading this PokeKid I'm expecting great things out of you :3

Chaos Dragons or How much I hate (love) Light Pulsar Dragon

Chaos Dragons

Part 1: The deck

A deck that has recently gotten some attention in Singapore it is more known for its new found success in the TCG meta players here are starting to realize how strong the deck can be in our current meta.

Chaos Dragon are in essence Twilight ver 2. They play much like Lightsworns obviously because they rely on a heavy Lightsworn engine, relying on cards such as Ryko, Lyla, Solar Recharge, and Charge of the Light Brigade to mill cards from the deck which it will later use as fodder for chaos monsters, Dark Flare Dragon, and Light Pulsar Dragon. Like the new dragon archetype Hieratics Chaos Dragons win with a army of Dragons that proceed to pound your face in and make you go cry in a corner of self-pity.

Now if your asking since Chaos Dragons and Hieratics win the same way whats the point of playing one or the other I shall go into more detail now and the best way to look at this is to look into the three SD exclusives that the deck runs.

First off we have Eclipse Wyvern.

Mill decks can have consistency **** this game

With its effect letting Chaos Dragons have the power to add all their combo pieces to their hand this card ensures that even if you stop the summon of one dragon or chaos monster they have another dragon in hand ready to throw on the field if they banished this card. This lets the deck have a stream of boss monsters ready so no matter how much backrow you have their will be something more.

2400 Attack Dark Grepher for dragons? With Bonus D.D. Crow effects? **** this game

Darkflare Dragon is annoying. Its big it helps the dragon deck manage the graveyard and it can remove threats from your opponents graveyard (inzektor players you know the pain of this). While the second part of the effect might seem like the more devastating part the first part isn't no joke either. The ability to send any dragon from deck to grave is a powerful thing and can help set up combo plays for later in the game. So even after you get over his 2400 attack rear end now you have to be worried of whats next.

I hate you so much .... but I can't help to love you all the same
Still for the amount of suffering you've caused me recently.
Die in fire Lightpulsar Dragon.

The few times I do go on Dnet this card has been a bane and a blessing to me so many times. One-half of the infamous Pulsar loop (the other card being REDMD) this card is not only a solid 2500 attack it generates advantage when it is killed (wtf). If you thought Inzektors were annoying wait till you see this and REDMD on your field. Plus you can discard any single light and single dark monster to special summon this card from your graveyard. Broken? Yes. Annoying? Extremely. Fun to use? Definitely.

With these 3 cards as a basis an engine is created which summons dragons consistently almost every game. While they lack the burst of Hieratics and the easy set up this deck can win in the long grind and no matter how many times your field gets cleared you'll always have an option ready.

Let us not neglect on the other cards the deck runs however. After all it is called "Chaos" Dragons for a reason right.

First off we have the always lovable Chaos sorcerer. An old staple from bygone eras this card is now making a return in Chaos Dragons do to its easy summoning cost and problem solving effect. The sad part about Chaos Dragons is that they are unable to get past annoying walls such as Spirit Reaper and Gellenduo. With this card all these problems can be solved quite simply.

Second we have the legend himself Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning. How many games has this card won single-handedly for you. How many times have you felt relief when you topdecked this card. Appearing on the battlefield this pretty boy has 3000 attack, can attack you twice, and has an upgraded version of Chaos Sorcerer's effect. Loved and Hated one thing we call all agree on is that it is a fearsome threat.

Lastly lets not forget the always lovable (formerly expensive) Lightsworn cards. Lyla and Ryko are staples in this deck but lets us not forget the possibility to include other cards such as Ehren, Jain, Lumina, and the dragon that always put a sour note in our day JD himself. Of course the latter cards are used in a more Lightsworn heavy version but Lyla and Ryko should be staples in any Chaos Dragon deck.

Part 2: How It Plays

The deck itself plays like a standard twilight deck from my limited experience with it. Summon your monster mill a few cards or activate Solar Recharge and go on from there. Heavy Backrow tends to not be so large of a problem due to the multiple copies of Lyla, Ryko, Cyclone, and Forbidden Lance the deck plays. Even with a 5 card backrow they should be able to push through it by summoning enough monsters.

Chaos Dragons mainly win with a flood of monsters much like Hieratics like I stated above however what is different is that the deck itself sets this up over multiple turns. Slowly filling up the grave with monsters then bursting with an REDMD and swarming the field. Dragons are also big though so simply getting under 5300 life is all it takes for a single REDMD and one Lightpulsar to kill you.

Slowly but steadily Chaos Dragons will grind you down and finish you with a hasty otk. Unfortunately sometimes there isn't much we can do about that but we can do some interesting theory crafting on how to play against the deck itself.

Part 3: Fighting Against Chaos Dragons

Chaos Dragons are in essence as I've mentioned before a revamped Twilight deck. The implications of this are quite obvious from the beginning they are a deck that is extremely reliant on the graveyard and thus the mill engine. As they say prevention is better than a cure so if possible stop them from milling too much if you can help it. With most decks running 3 Veilers that will be somewhat useless against Chaos Dragons it is important to use them when you can and stop the Lylas, Chaos monsters, and the REDMD. In the following games it might not be such a good idea to take 1 out due to how Veiler can be such a dead draw against the deck itself.

Side decking properly against Chaos Dragons is also extremely important like against any deck Macro Cosmos is a good idea but I have reservations on it seeing that this might give them the option to do D.D.R. plays which can be extremely painful. I personally prefer putting in hand traps such as Gorz, Tragoedia, and Swift Scarecrow along with one of my personal favorite side deck cards Dimensional Prison. Also be sure not to side in Maxx C as you cannot chain to most of the special summons the deck performs and will be stuck with it in hand for a while. Another valid option if you cannot run hand traps and do not like cards such as Dimensional Prison and Bottomless Trap Hole is simply controlling the grave through cards such as Crevice from D.D. and Transmigration Prophecy (Trans should be in your side this meta)

It is important to know what your deck can do especially when fighting against Chaos Dragons in my opinion. Unlike when fighting against decks such as Inzektors and Rabbit Ragia most of their monsters will likely have stronger attack than yours. This forces you to be creative as while it is possible to grind through lots of backrow its almost impossible to get across a monster stronger than your entire deck without a trap of some kind. Thus think creatively and look to see what your deck should do to win against them. Should you try to stop them short early game at all cost? Or perhaps try to stop the Pulsar itself later in the game. What is the bigger threat to you right now the Lyla? Or perhaps the REDMD in the future? These are questions that you should be asking on what deck your playing because sometimes Veilering the Lyla and stopping them from milling can be the right move. However when they drop an REDMD on you and summon that Lightpulsar from hand you know your in deep shit so perhaps Veilering the Lyla so early in the game might be a bad idea.

Lastly, experiment find someone with the deck and go a few rounds with them. Experiment to see what you can do against them. Acquire experience you can use in the future when playing against this deck. As long as your facing a generally competent player you should see some of the basic plays people do and tend to lean on and perhaps expect these some other day.

Thanks for reading my wall of text that I've been slacking on for the past few days.

And remember Future Fusion is a *****.

9/6 WCQ Top 16 Qualifier Tourney Report

I was nearly late for the tournament due to a tree that fell on the expressway delaying my bus lol. However I managed to arrive on the nick of time and as usual pulled no foils from my tournament pack <_<.

Oh well.

Deck Played: Putra Gadgets

5 round swiss to top 8

Round 1: vs Lauren (inzektors) Ah soo WCQQ rematch lol

Game 1: I controlled quite easily with my backrow and just beat him down with Fortress.

Game 2: I actually opened quite badly with multiple Gadgets, Fortress, and Mind Control but he made a first turn No 12: Crimson Shadow, added a Damsel to hand and ended his turn. I drew a compulsory and stole his Crimson Shadow made a Gaia Dragoon summoned Gadget and Fortress and attacked and had the Compulsory for his Damsel the following turn so I won.

Noobie was also having a rematch with a opponent of his from Ah soo as well too he lost this time though.

OO

Current Result: 1-0

Round 2: vs Jie Lun am I spelling your name correctly? (inzektors)

Game 1: It was quite a standard game for a while and I made one Geargiganto X and farmed successfully to my surprise but he cleared my backrow and dropped BLS on me unexpectedly. I killed the BLS with Fortress but he used call of the haunted to bring it back. However I had a Compulsory ready for it and won since he didn't have any more lights to remove for BLS and no inzektors.

Game 2: He opened 3 Ladybug I believe and tried to stall for a while, however I had a Shadow-Imprisoning mirror ready for him and pushed him down to 1900 life with a beatdown. He then started setting monsters and I thought he had Snowman Eater I just decided to make a Photon Butterfly Assassin and flip it face up since I could summon Fortress and kill him after he destroyed my Assassin but he surrendered after I summoned it since he knew I was going to win.

OO

Current Result: 2-0

Round 3: vs Clarence Foo (inzektors)

Game 1: I controlled from start to finish and farmed with Geargiganto X until I had too much advantage. He just lost to beatdown.

Game 2: He had Snowman Eaters to stall my Gadgets and I made the mistake of not summoning my Gadget since I was hesitant due to his two set cards. He made a Zenmaines (<_<) and summoned a Card Car D which I Veilered. On my turn I tried to push everything but he had a Mirror Force ready and when I set two he used storm on me on his turn and I died.

Game 3: His hand was really quite bad so I just beat him down with Gadgets and multiple Fortress.

OXO

Current Result 3-0

At this point I was feeling quite good because all I had to do is win one of the next two games to top 8.

Round 4: Shelton (Hanzo Hieratics)

Game 1: Geargiganto X Farming with no answer means that I'm winning most likely. :D

Game 2: I set two and summoned Gearframe which he Veilered and he used Heavy Storm on me (<_<). He summoned a Hanzo and set two and ended turn. I summoned a Gadget and when he went to use Super Trans on me I booked my own Gearframe so I wouldn't lose it and all he summoned was a Koaki Meiru Drago. I killed the Drago with a Geargiganto I made but he summoned a BLS on me and I had no answer for it lol.

Game 3: I thought things were going well when I summoned Geargiganto X and farmed successfully but when he didn't set anything I knew he had Heavy Storm and he proceeded to otk me with 3 Shiyu,
an Aset, and an REDMD lol.

OXX

Round 5 vs Kenny (Dark World)

Game 1: I summoned a Gearframe and set two and ended turn. He used Card Destruction on his turn and I thought I was screwed but He only discarded two Grapha and I destroyed my two backrow. He couldn't get anything going after that and I just beat him down.

Game 2: I opened with one Gearframe and Shadow Mirror and used Pot of Duality to get a second one. He tried to play around my Shadow Mirror thinking I only had one but I had two and it turned into a backrow war while I kept beating his face in with Gearframe. When he made a move and started using his backrow he managed to get a Grapha on the field after we both used everything. I summoned a Gadget set a card and ended my turn. He attacked with his Grapha and I used Book of Moon on it thinking I could make a Utopia next turn and defend myself and go for Utopia Ray when he summoned Grapha again for game since his life was under 2k but he said a monster which I knew was a Scarr and ended his turn. So I just made one Photon Butterfly Assassin to kill it and I won lol.

OO

Top 8: vs AvengingKnight (inzektors)

Game 1: He said he opened quite badly which is true but he managed to clear my backrow with his two MST and proceeded to steamroll me with a BLS. Funny thing that happened was I told him show me BLS and I'll surrender and on his next turn he got it.

Game 2: He opened a lot of backrow and so did I. I had a Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror to stop whatever plays he had though. For most of this game he had a Gravity Bind open stopping me from doing anything useful. However I managed to clear the first one when he activated a second one on me (<_<). Later he made a Zenmaines and a Centipede and was beating my face in with them. I thought I was going to lose in a bit but I managed to God Draw into an MST and summoned my Gadget and two Fortress destroyed the Gravity Bind and used Limit Break to Smash his Zenmaine twice with two 5000 attack Monsters for game.

Game 3: He opened quite badly and it turned into a backrow war again. I beat him a bit with Gearframe until he got rid of it. Later I made one Photon Butterfly Assassin to get past his Gravity Bind and attack one of his defence position monsters for damage. At the end of the match after we opened almost all our backrow he used Call of the Haunted to attempt to summon Sangan since he was desperate. He activated Solemn Judgment in response and misplayed because when he summoned Dark Armed he couldn't kill My Assassin since I had a Shadow Mirror ready to stop his DAD's eff and he couldn't attack due to his Gravity Bind. So I just attacked his Sangan for game.

XOO

Top 4:  vs Sam Kee Eternal God of Malaysia aka I'm so fucked (inzektors)

Game 1: He summoned a Centipede and I used Solemn Warning on it. When he used Reborn on it I immediately threw Veiler at it since I knew that must have been all he had and I just killed the Centipede and beat him down from there.

Game 2: 0 monsters appeared and when I set traps to stall I ate a Heavy Storm and died (<_<).

Game 3: It was a close game but a timely Mind Crush saved Sam since my hand was Fortress, Gadget, Limiter, Mind Control, Storm. Since I summoned a Gadget previously he knew which one was in my hand and because of the Mind Crush he didn't summon a rank 5 exceed for me to Mind Control. I couldn't get any monsters next turn and lost to a swarm of bugs (>_<).

As usual when playing against Sam I win game 1 and lose the next 2. Its never his main deck that kills me its his side. Still can't believe I lost to a Mind Crush of all things.

Oh well at least I pulled an Ultra D.D. Crow from my pack.

Also I fought 5 Inzektors today wtf.

Thanks for reading!!!

I wanted to try a Hieratic decklist like Noobie's using some of the ideas of one of the Hieratic players from shriek and make my own decklist for once.

The general idea behind the deck is to summon light pulsar and make it sit there with a full field so that even if they use Dark Hole you'll at the least get back a REDMD most of the time.

Cyber Dragon + Caius is an incredibly Strong Chaos engine on its own and will force cards from your opponent or perhaps the Veiler. At the least Caius is quite big and won't die so easily to most decks (fuck Inzektors). Cyber Dragon + Aset = instant Rank 5 which gives many options that Hieratics aren't normally able to access so easily such as Volcasaurus, Tyrus, and Wind up Zenmaio.

A good strategy is summoning Tofeni then tributing it for Caius which leads to M7, Bounzer, Sword Breaker etc etc.

So what do you think of the deck?

I would really appreciate suggestions I want to play some Hieratic variation besides Hanzo.

Tournament Report 2nd June 2012 top 16 WCQ Qualifier

Woke up a bit late and was thinking if I wanted to go but decided I might as well go as the card shop was only around 20 min from my place.

Met up with AvengingKnight as usual sadly Noobie wasn't there as he was stuck with national service this week. I was surprised by how small the card shop was but the place was clean and looked good so it was ok I guess.

Since there weren't enough tables we would have to wait for a table to play our matches in this tourney.

Swiss round of 4 to top 8 single eli

Deck used: Machina Gadgets "this time with extra sacking powers"

Round 1: vs Kenneth "plant" Koh (Hanzo Hieratics)

Game 1: We didn't do much for a while I just summoned Orange Boy and Gadgets and tried to poke and he farmed. When he tried to spam exceeds I stopped him with some traps but still ended up eating 5000 damage. I cleared his field and ended my turn and when he tried to hit me next turn with an Eset for some additional damage I dropped my maindecked Tragoedia on him (lol) and later killed him with Limiter Removal.

(Noobie's suggestion for the main decked tragoedia actually worked lol)

Game 2: We both farmed for a bit and when he used the Hieratic seal of Convocation to search Tofeni I Mind Crushed his hand and thought I saw a Forbidden Lance and set 4 cards in my hand. In my utter genius what i thought I saw was a Heavy Storm and I loss my entire backrow to him lol. I proceeded to eat dragons from there.

(Epic Fail)

Game 3: I summoned a Gadget and set two and ended my turn. He tried to rush me but when he searched the Tofeni with the Seal I Mind Crushed him once again lol. He still attempted to spam but I dropped Maxx C and he only went Eset then special summoned Su to at least kill my gadget so I couldn't make Geargiganto X and get Gearframe the next turn. I used Dark Hole to clear his field and summoned Orange Boy and attacked. On the following turn he summoned Hanzo and I used Warning on him when he used Monster Reborn to summon Hanzo again and tried to use an already set Super Transformation I Cycloned it and his Hanzo suicided into my Gearframe. With no cards left on hand and field I showed Kenneth a hand of Gearframe, Fortress, Gadget, and Limiter Removal and he surrendered.

Current Result: 1-0

Round 2: vs Clarence Foo (Hanzo Hieratics) ..... again

Round 1: I don't remember too much here before I started writing what happened in the tourney sorry. What I do remember is that he had a Hanzo on the field and an awesome hand so after I wasted some resources on the Hanzo he cleared my backrow and spammed the field with exceeds.

Round 2: I made a genius play and went for the otk but made a misplay and failed I did a good amount of damage still though and had a Maxx C to back me up after he cleared my field with Dark Hole and went for the otk but stopped halfway because of the Maxx C. The Maxx C did let me draw into my third Orange Boy though and I killed him with it since he was low on life.

Round 3: Open Heavy Storm, Limiter Removal, Orange Boy, Orange Boy, Fortress, and draw into Maxx C ..... I think you should know the end result of this lol.

Current Result: 2-0

Round 3: vs Akira (Evil Evil Bugs)

Round 1: He had one of the worse hands I had seen an Inzektor player had in a while and when I stopped his lone Ladybug he just died because I had farmed with Geargiganto X and he couldn't do anything about the beatdown.

Round 2: I didn't use Cyclone on his lone backrow and got my Orange Boy Warninged. The game went down hill from there as my Gadgets kept dying to his Centipede and I had no answer. Later in the game he made a Zenmaines to stall and had Inzektor stunts ready to kill me on the following turn along with a Cyber Dragon in hand to make Chimeratech just in case. My hand was Mind Control, 2 Gadgets, and a Fortress I drew and I drew Limiter Removal! His field only had one Zenmaines and one set card. Knowing I was going to die the following turn I decided to just go for it and summoned a Gadget, Summoned a Fortress, Mind Controled his Zenmaines and attack for game with the Limiter since he had less than 6000 life and miraculously it worked and I won.

Current Result: 3-0

Round 4: AvengingKnight

He let me win since I had the lower tie breaker.

4-0

Top 8: vs Clarence Foo (Hanzo Hieratics) again

Round 1: Otk and I couldn't stop it at all.

Round 2: I otk him in return.

Round 3: I had him in a good position when he used Pot of Duality and got Hanzo and I made the stupid mistake of summoning Tragoedia after he killed My Hanzo letting Him super transform the Hanzo and a Gearframe I summoned next turn into a REDMD and another Hieratic which I cannot remember. I tried to protect myself with a fortress but he went into the exabeetle otk and I lost.

So what did I learn from this tourney?

Lesson 1: When Noobie's suggestions work they just win

Lesson 2: Limiter Removal is a good card. (I will never doubt you again Limiter)

Lesson 3: Don't throw Maxx C at the wrong time.

Lesson 4: Swift Scarecrow might be a better idea than Tragoedia since it can get Super Transformed.

Lesson 5: I hate Hanzo.

Also in other news Noobie has been trying to get me into Vanguard and I have no idea what I want to play any suggestions?

Thanks for reading!!!

Sorry I didn't go to the tournament today and add more to this report but I had homework I needed to do.
